Core Exercise Power Moves

We all want sleek and sexy abs, but do we want to work for it? That’s almost as dreaded as going to the dentist!  

 

We are here today to tell you that there is no gym membership needed  to get the abs you desire and it's actually easier than you think. Read on. 

 

Core exercise power moves and tips to get the job done.

 

Oblique Standing Side Bends

This exercise will blast those love handles! Begin with feet shoulder width apart and place your hands behind your head. Keep your elbows pointed outward.

Raise left knee up to elbow, bend your midsection up and over to the left. Think touch knee to elbow. Do 15 reps on each side. Feel it burn!

 

 

The Abdominal Hold Core 

Grab the kitchen chair for this effective core exercise. Let's get moving! Sit on the front edge of the chair, place your hands at the sides of your legs grasping the front of the chair. Fingers should be pointing towards feet and legs.

Bring your feet 2 to 4 inches up off the floor as you lift your butt up off of the chair. Hold for 10 seconds or as long as you can. Lower your butt and feet back down. Repeat for 2 minutes and increase time as you get stronger.

 

 

The Hundred Pump

Burn baby burn! This core exercise will certainly give you that 6-pack and no equipment needed.

Lie down flat on your back. Bend your knees, hands at your sides, palms facing down. While exhaling, lift your shoulders and head off of the floor. Chin should be towards or touching your chest. Raise arms up about 7 inches off the floor as you pump your arms up and down. Pretend you are reaching out for something. Remember to inhale and exhale. Do 50 pumps, then graduate to 100.


 

Warrior Leg Balance

Stand up and get that gorgeous 6-pack! Stand on your left leg. Raise your right knee in front of you to height of hip. Extend the right leg behind you as you keep the left leg slightly bent. Reach out and extend both arms to help you with balance. Change legs and repeat for 10 reps.

 

 

These power moves require no gym, no equipment and you can do them anywhere. That's fabulous news worth sharing.
